Beeswax Candles

Mohawk Valley Trading Company’s 100% pure beeswax candles are hand-poured or dipped, crafted with 100% cotton wicks and 100% unbleached yellow beeswax produced by our bees in the USA. They contain no additives, fragrances, or dyes.

100% pure beeswax candles burn brighter, cleaner, hotter, and longer than those made from paraffin wax, a waste product of petroleum refining that contains up to 11 toxic compounds and chemicals, including benzene and toluene. The toxic fumes and soot released from burning paraffin wax candles are identical to those found in diesel exhaust fumes.

When you burn petroleum-based paraffin wax candles or scented candles in your home, you fill it with extremely toxic chemicals and fumes.

In the U.S.A., the term “pure” on a candle label means that only 51% of an ingredient is required to be labeled “pure.” Therefore, when purchasing beeswax candles, make sure they are labeled as “100% Pure Beeswax.”
