Although we make and sell our own natural foot cream and foot lotion, we encourage you to experiment and develop your own recipes because there is no “one size fits all” when you take into consideration all of the factors involved when it comes to skin care: heredity, skin type, diet, environment, age, allergies, lifestyle etc.
Many natural foot cream and foot lotions can be made with ingredients that might already be in your kitchen or medicine cabinet and here is a basic formula to get you started:
• 1/4 cup almond or olive oil
• 1/8 cup coconut oil
• 1/8 cup beeswax
• Optional: 1/2 teaspoon Vitamin E oil
• Optional: 1 tablespoon Shea Butter or Cocoa Butter
• Optional: Essential oils or natural extracts
Combine all ingredients except the optional natural extract, Vitamin E or essential oil in a suitable glass jar or Pyrex measuring cup and place in a pot of simmering water.
When everything is melted, remove from heat and let cool for 5 -10 minutes then stir in the the the optional natural extract, Vitamin E or essential oil.
Stir occasionally until mixture starts to solidify then pour into small containers or allow it to solidify in glass jar.

“how to make natural foot cream”About Foot Cream, Foot Lotion and the Differences Between Them
Foot creams and lotions are moisturizers meant to relieve dryness, soften skin, reduce roughness and heal cracked heels. People usually use foot creams for very dry skin that needs an aggressive moisturizing treatment. Foot lotions are typically used on a daily basis to combat mild dry skin, or to keep feet feeling soft and moisturized all the time.
For the most part, foot lotions and foot creams are the same in terms of their function and purpose, but they have individual properties that make them distinctly different. Foot creams are made up of a 1:1 ratio of water and oil, while foot lotions contain much less or even no oil at all resulting in a much thinner consistency.
Many ingredients used in commercially manufactured foot moisturizers can actually do more harm than good. Along with so many other personal care products, consumers are turning to natural foot care over their standard commercially made lotions and creams.
Natural foot cream recipes can be made in a multitude of combinations, most often consisting of beeswax, natural butters and oils, such as shea butter and coconut oil, as well as essential oils such as tea tree or peppermint oil. Natural ingredients such as beeswax, have properties that make them an ideal barrier to help lock in moisture, while keeping out undesirable environmental elements.
We are in the process of redesigning the packaging for our handmade, natural foot cream and will update this page when we re-launch.
